Hey Cozy Lake Families,
With the holidays coming up, many of you may be traveling to visit family members. If so, and you are wondering what the travel guidelines are, here you go....
- For those traveling to surrounding states (such as NY, PA, DE), no quarantine is required.
- If the duration of travel outside of NJ is 24 hours or less, no quarantine is required.
- If vaccinated, no quarantine is required, but you need to self-monitor for symptoms and should symptoms occur, quarantine and obtain a COVID test.
- If traveling outside the surrounding states for more than 24 hours and you are not vaccinated, then you need to self quarantine for 7 days after return and obtain a negative COVID test between day 3-5 post return. If you opt not to get a COVID test day 3-5, then you need to self quarantine for 10 days post return.
- Students who are quarantining (for exposure, illness, or travel reasons) may work virtually in order to stay up-to-date on missed classwork. Follow up with your child's teacher for more information.
Testing has become much more available and convenient.
Also, I was just informed that LabQ in Budd Lake accepts walk ins and does saliva test (as opposed to nasal test). CVS is also very convenient.
