Hello Cozy Families,
Spring will be here before we know it, but we are still in the midst of cold and flu season. Cozy has had a relatively healthy season so far, but unfortunately, this past week we have seen a spike in illness related absences. The majority of these illnesses are due to fever and/or generalized cold symptoms. So far, we have had only 5 confirmed cases of flu.
Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to limit the spread of illness here at Cozy. We have stepped up the cleaning and disinfecting in the classrooms and will continue to encourage the students to use their healthy hygiene habits on a regular basis.
Please be sure to keep your child home if he/she exhibits signs of illness and please continue to reinforce the importance of frequent and effective hand-washing at home. You have all been wonderfully supportive and patient during this challenging season and we truly appreciate it!
